The Regional Championship brings together players from across your area for the shot at becoming the next Regional Champion.
This event is what you have been playing for all season! Enjoy great poker, party with your friends, and earn the opportunity to play in the ultimate World Tavern Poker tournament, the National Championships.

Come enjoy a fun day of competitive poker with your World Tavern Poker Family! American Legion 488 provides a fantastic space for us to play, a well-stocked, reasonably priced bar, and a welcoming staff.

Players are strongly encouraged to take part in the Lunch Buffet described in the Venue Details section. This will greatly help the American Legion team provide us with a great day and assure more events in the future.

SUNDAY, MARCH 3rd
9:30am: Doors Open for TD'S ONLY!

10:30am: TD Smackdown Tournament
This event is for current and assistant TD's from Season 2 2023/24 at Region-area bars only (2 max per bar) to reward their hard work all season long!

11:30am: Doors Open, T-Shirt Sales Begin
Get in early for your best shot at t-shirts!

11:30pm: Registration Opens
Regional Championships are for qualified players only. You must be 21 years of age or older to play. Please have your photo ID with you.

12:00pm to 1:00pm: Lunch (See Venue Info above)
Will be available to purchase!
1:10pm: Registration Closes, Players Seated, Awards
Regional Awards and brief announcements will take place here.
1:30pm: Regional Championship Tournament
14,900 starting chips and 25-min blinds. Who will be the new champ?
3:30pm: Single Table Side Games
Knocked out of the Regional Championship? Join us for single-table events with prizes up for grabs!
Venue Details
Have a wonderful day with your World Tavern Poker family. Fill up with a delicious lunch and hang out with your Poker friends at the covered outdoor Pavillion prior to the event.

BUFFET MENU ($20) The Lunch Buffet is served to you by the wonderful American Legion helpers. Included in the buffet are: meatballs, pasta, sausage & peppers, chicken francese, rice, bread, salad, plus coffee/tee and a soda or water.
​
Play your best poker in our fun, competitive Regional Championship Tournament. American Legion has reasonably priced drinks for your enjoyment.
Don't get knocked out early, but if you do, step out on the deck and take in the pretty lake view, or play in one of our single-table Sit-N-Go's and win a prize!
NOTE: All purchases are cash only. There is plenty of room for parking in the Upper Lot.
Food and Drink specials will be posted at the venue.
