Regionals Overview
The Regional Championship brings together players from across your area for the shot at becoming the next Regional Champion.
This event is what you have been playing for all season! Enjoy great poker, party with your friends, and earn the opportunity to play in the ultimate World Tavern Poker tournament, the National Championships.

Venue Details
The Knights of Columbus building offers spacious areas for the NY South/Conn Regional Championship. Plus, it's located in a highly convenient area in downtown Blauvelt just off the Palisades Parkway.
NOTE: All purchases are cash only. There is no ATM on site. Please allow time for parking, which is available in the main lot, side lawn, and if necessary, the surrounding streets.
Food and Drink specials will be posted at the venue.

SUNDAY, MARCH 1st
10:30am: Big Points Tournament Check-In
Check-in for the big points game at 11:00am.
PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE FOR THIS EVENT UNDER "CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS" - this will be located in the drop-down menu on the same page where you normally register for tournaments.
10:30am: Light Breakfast Fare
Will be available to purchase!
11:00am: Big Points No Limp Tournament
Top 3 earn great prizes! Players are dealt two cards as normal. The first person that wants to come in has to make it at least 3x the big blind. Players can either call, raise, or fold. After the flop, all betting is just like a regular game.
11:30am: Registration Opens, T-Shirt Sales
Regional Championships are for qualified players only. You must be 21 years of age or older to play. Please have your photo ID with you.
1:30pm: Registration Closes
1:45pm: Players Seated, Regional Awards
Regional Awards and brief announcements will take place here.
2:00pm: Regional Championship Tournament
14,900 starting chips and 25-min blinds. Who will be the new champ?
3:45pm to 4:45pm: Dinner Break
A great selection of amazing food! The menu will be available at the event. The chef here is really top-notch! ($17 per person, CASH ONLY!)
5:00pm: Single Table Side Games
Knocked out of the Regional Championship? Join us for single table events with great prizes up for grabs!
Side games may take place when enough players are available. Check with your TD if you get knocked out.

12:00pm: Luncheon & TD Smackdown

This event is for current and assistant TD's from Season 2 2019/20 at NY South/Conn bars only (2 max per bar) to reward their hard work all season long! The winner receives the TD Smackdown trophy and a Party & Poker Access Pass to OPEN 27 this May!
