The 2022 World League Poker Championships will certainly be remembered as one of the best OPEN/WLPC events we've ever been a part of! Hundreds of players from World Tavern Poker, Canada, and the top leagues in Missouri (Missouri Legends), Texas (Snowman), and California (All In) - plus a handful of players from Redtooth Poker in Great Britain - all descended onto the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas last week. It was truly AMAZING to get to see and be around all of you! So much fun and excitement was had - we have NEW National Champions in GEORGE LOPEZ (New Mexico) and JAMES LAMROUEX (Maryland). We have a new WLPC World Champion in ANDREW ECKHARD from Missouri (who also won two other events at the WLPC - an INCREDIBLE job!!!). There was the AWESOME Bad Beat Island Party with Kathy Dunbar, who was hilarious! Not to mention SO MANY OF YOU that dressed up in your best swashbuckling attire - congrats to those selected for framed awards! The atmosphere continued during the Poker Gives Dream Team event as well. From the Poker Gives table, the add-on from the event, and player donations, you gave an INCREDIBLE amount of $7,000 to the Poker Gives charity - just an awesome show of support! From all of the drinks, parties, and just being back among our WTP and WLPC Family, the 2022 WLPC will live in the memories of those who participated for a long, LONG time!
