Events in BLACK are open to all players with Access Passes. Tournaments in PURPLE are open to WTP players only (qualified where applicable).

NOTE: Don't forget that Daylight Savings Time ends during the OPEN!
OPEN 2026 runs from Saturday, October 31st until Thursday, November 5th. Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday, November 1st at 2am Vegas time. That means when the clock strikes 2am, it will actually be 1am. Make sure you factor this into your plans!
Is the OPEN similar to the World League Poker Championships? Where is the WLPC?!?
The World Tavern Poker OPEN is the same event structurally as the WLPC. We decided a couple of years ago that it was important to reintroduce the OPEN brand to our Vegas event. More to come on the former WLPC Main Event soon!
When will Registration be open?
Registration will open starting at 10am on Saturday for VIPs and 11am for everyone else. Registration will open between 9am and 10am each day thereafter, and run to around 4-5pm on most days.
Will I need a Players Card to play in tournaments at The Orleans?
Yes! You can get your 'B-Connected' Players Card after going through Registration. You will be directed to where to go to get your card if you don't already have one.
Does purchasing an Access Pass include my buy-ins for the cash tournaments?
No, it does not. Purchasing an Access Pass gives you access to the cash tournaments during the series. Buy-ins for tournaments are separate and must be paid by the player to enter.
Why are there resort fees if I book through The Orleans?
Resort fees are the norm at most properties these days. However, it's still worthwhile to stay on-site! Our special rates are hard to beat, and you simply can't beat the convenience (saves money, time, and energy) of staying on-site. Plus, resort fees at The Orleans include room Wi-Fi, access to a Fitness Center, in-room coffee, and more.
Will there be tickets to the Main Themed Party for sale during the OPEN?
Possibly, but only in very limited quantities and likely only for a brief time. This is why we highly recommend purchasing a Party & Poker Access Pass prior to the event to get the full OPEN experience!
