NATIONAL QUALIFICATION LISTS
Below are the qualification lists from the two qualifying seasons for National Championship & National TOC events at OPEN 2026. We will be adding players from the upcoming Regionals as results come in (as time allows).
HOW TO USE THE BUTTONS BELOW:
Start from the top and work your way down. Check each FINALS list first - if your name is there, you're qualified for that event! Some players may appear on multiple lists and a few names may be duplicated - REMEMBER: players always compete in the highest event they qualify for!

OPEN 2026 EVENT SCHEDULE
All structures, tournaments, and buy-ins are subject to Nevada Department of Gaming approval and can be modified without prior notice.
Events in BLACK are open to all players with Access Passes. Tournaments in PURPLE are open to WTP players only (qualified where applicable).
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31st
12:00PM: EARLY STRIKERS TOURNAMENT ($100)
Get your first cash of the OPEN in this event!
2:00PM: WTP NATIONAL TOC SEMI-FINALS ($0+$25)
SHOOTOUT FORMAT: Be among the final 2 players at your table and you'll advance to the TOC Finals on Sunday! Qualified WTP players only.
3:00PM: SINGLE-TABLE SHOOTOUT ($100)
SHOOTOUT FORMAT: No combining tables! Finish in the Top 2 at your table and earn a weighted split of the prize pool!
6:00PM: The 'MURICA Monster Stack Event! ($125)
DEEP STACK IS BACK! Players start with a BIG stack of 25,000 chips and can add an extra 10,000 chips for $10. With 20 minute blinds throughout, this is going to be a HUGE poker party!
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1st
10:00AM: WTP NATIONAL TOC FINALS ($0+$25)
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT: World Tavern players compete for Major Event packages, up to a $10,000 Main Event seat for the winner, along with the title of NEW WTP National TOC Champion! Qualified players only.
12:00PM: BOUNTY SURVIVOR TOURNAMENT ($125)
SURVIVOR FORMAT: One $25 Bounty Chip per KO. Once play gets "in the money", the event ends; most in chips wins plaque; prize pool splits evenly.
6:00PM: Tag Team USA Survivor Tournament ($75 per person)
SWITCHES & FUN: A staple of every OPEN event. Players compete in 2-person teams with switches every 15 minutes after the 1st hour, even during hands! PLUS, a costume contest to see who has the most inspiring America-celebrating attire - this is gonna be a BLAST!

POKER ROOM: 3 hours of $1/$2 cash-game style play; most in chips wins!
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd
9:00AM: WTP Tournament Director Summit (no cost)
Open to all WTP TD's! Join us for an hour of great discussion covering topics important to everyone running our games across the country.
10:00AM: WTP TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR CHAMPIONSHIP ($0+$25)
REGULAR FORMAT: Open to World Tavern TDs from the current and previous two seasons with a $2,500 prize pool. Our way of saying THANK YOU to our incredible Tournament Directors for all they do!
12:00PM: BOUNTY TOURNAMENT ($100)
$25-CHIP BOUNTIES: Each player gets a $25 chip for every player they eliminate PLUS competes for a nice Day 3 prize pool!

8:00PM: "CELEBRATING AMERICA" PARTY
PARTY TICKET ENTRY: The most patriotic Poker Party of all time! Come dressed to help celebrate America's 250th for this can't-miss event. We will have lively entertainment, costume contests, and SO MUCH MORE!
11:00PM: All In or Fold Tournament ($20)
HOURS OF INSANITY: Players start with 1,000 chips and have one pre-flop decision: all in, or fold! Unlimited re-entry for the 1st hour, with the option to add 10,000 chips for $20 at first break. Then you're either all in or you fold until there's a winner. You cannot miss this 'crazy' late-night event!
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd
10:00AM: WTP NATIONAL CHAMP FINALS, DAY 1 ($0+$25)
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT: World Tavern players compete for 16 Major Event packages, up to a $5,000 Main Event seat for the winner, along with the title of NEW WTP National Champion! Play will continue on Tuesday until just 24 players remain; then we bag & tag to resume play Wednesday at 12pm. Qualified players only.
2:00PM: WLPC BOUNTY TOURNAMENT ($100)
OPEN TO ALL: Players from WTP, Snowman Poker, All-In Poker, Missouri Legends, and Team Canada compete in one event to see which player is the Last Person Standing in their league. All league winners receive a plaque and any prize their league may provide. PLUS, this is a BOUNTY event, so each player gets a $25 chip for every player they eliminate.
7:00PM: THANK YOU VETERANS Dream Team Tournament ($100)
TEAM & INDIVIDUAL EVENT: Players pick teams of 4 to compete for a separate prize split among their team that's withheld from the prize pool. We will be running special promotions throughout to benefit Veterans of our country for their amazing service. Much more to come!

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4th
10:00AM: WTP OPEN BLIND BOUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP ($250)
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT: Become a World Champion and earn your way to the World Tavern Poker Hall of Fame, mystery bounty style! Bounties can range from $50 up to $1,500 and will be available in the PIT for the final 24 players (more info on-site!).

4:00PM: SPEED BOUNTY TOURNAMENT ($100)
$25-CHIP BOUNTIES: Each player gets a $25 chip for every player they eliminate. Blinds run 15 minutes in this quick shot for a Day 5 score!

POKER ROOM: 3 hours of $1/$2 cash-game style play; most in chips wins!
TOURNAMENT NOTES:
-- All tournaments will be taking place in the French Quarter Ballroom on the 2nd floor of the Orleans Casino. Only the GRINDERS cash game-style events take place in the Poker Room.
-- You must have a valid and unexpired ID to get your B-Connected Card, which is required to participate in all tournaments at The Orleans Casino.
-- All buy-ins are listed with entry and casino fees included. Any add-ons that may be available are separate from this price and are 100% optional (but highly recommended as this money goes directly to the dealers!).
-- Unlimited re-entry is available for the first 4 levels of all tournaments EXCEPT for National Championship and National TOC events. Breaks are scheduled every 4 levels.
-- All poker-related decisions made by the Tournament Director and related Orleans staff are final. WTP does not interfere or get involved in those decisions. Please observe all house rules and those announced prior to each event.

NOTE: Don't forget that Daylight Savings Time ends during the OPEN!
OPEN 2026 runs from Saturday, October 31st until Thursday, November 5th. Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday, November 1st at 2am Vegas time. That means when the clock strikes 2am, it will actually be 1am. Make sure you factor this into your plans!
Is the OPEN similar to the World League Poker Championships? Where is the WLPC?!?
The World Tavern Poker OPEN is the same event structurally as the WLPC. We decided a few years ago that it was important to reintroduce the OPEN brand to our Vegas event. We still run a WLPC-themed tournament, open to all, where the last person standing in each league gets a plaque and any prize their league may be awarding!
When will Registration be open?
Registration will open starting at 10am on Saturday for VIPs and 11am for everyone else. Registration will open between 9am and 10am each day thereafter, and run to around 4-5pm on most days.
Will I need a Players Card to play in tournaments at The Orleans?
Yes! You can get your 'B-Connected' Players Card after going through Registration. You will be directed to where to go to get your card if you don't already have one.
Does purchasing an Access Pass include my buy-ins for the cash tournaments?
No, it does not. Purchasing an Access Pass gives you access to the cash tournaments during the series. Buy-ins for tournaments are separate and must be paid by the player to enter.
Why are there resort fees if I book through The Orleans?
Resort fees are the norm at most properties these days. However, it's still worthwhile to stay on-site! Our special rates are hard to beat, and you simply can't beat the convenience (saves money, time, and energy) of staying on-site. Plus, resort fees at The Orleans include room Wi-Fi, access to a Fitness Center, in-room coffee, and more.
Will there be tickets to the Main Themed Party for sale during the OPEN?
Possibly, but only in very limited quantities and likely only for a brief time. This is why we highly recommend purchasing a Party & Poker Access Pass prior to the event to get the full OPEN experience!
